Senior Sessions: Laken Cass

Laken is graduating from East Wilkes High School this year and came to me to do her senior session. She wanted an urban session and I'm so glad she did. So, we headed downtown Winston-Salem to do her session. As you can see, Laken is very comfortable and relaxed in front of the camera. You just have to see these images. I had so many favorites but here are just a few....

Senior Sessions: Taylor Jolly

I go to church with Ms. Taylor and she's just a ray of sunshine. She came in this weekend for her senior portrait session and she rocked it! She has the most spectacular eyes. If you don't believe me, see for yourself.....

Newborns: Jake Parnell

Michael and Chrystal Parnell came in to see us this past weekend with the newest addition of their family, Jake Parnell. This is one beautiful baby and sweet to boot. It took a little bit to get him to go to sleep but once he did boy did we get some really beautiful moments of him.

I just love this photo with his mouth open while he's fast asleep. How precious a newborn is when they are sleeping peacefully.


Thank you for allowing me to photograph one of the most important moments in Jake's life. Don't blink because he will grow before your eyes. I look forward to seeing him at our next session.

Behind on Blogging...

With wedding season coming to a close and portrait season in full swing, there is always work to do, and we aren't able to blog as often as we'd like, especially with personal work. Our clients and friends are always asking to see our kids on the blog. They grow so fast! Case in point, my son Jonah. He turned 8 in September and I cannot believe how big he is. I have a photoshoot in the works, but here is an image I took right after his birthday.
