Maternity : Faye

We love shooting on location and were thrilled to take this maternity session outside. Faye was completely open to our ideas and we had so much fun scouting new places. Baby Evie is due in March, but she won't slow Mommy for long! Faye is an awesome wedding coordinator and we are lucky to be working with her this year. Share her website http://coordinatingdreams.com/ with every stressed out bride you know! :)

Fun with fingerpaints...

And a different perspective... Thanks Faye. We had a blast with you. I hope Evie gets your sense of humor!!!

Awaiting Baby Blake...

We love photographing bellies and little bundles and lately we've been getting our fill! This beautiful family will be blessed with a baby boy in March, and big sister Makayla is very excited.

Love this study of the female form at it's most beautiful...

Told you she was excited! And we can't wait to meet baby Blake!

Sandra's Maternity Portraits

We almost ran out of time, but we managed to make room for Sandra's maternity portraits (yep, that's Fusion's Sandra) with only a couple of weeks to go. She was game for anything I wanted to do, and she looks amazing, so we took things in a different direction and opted for a fresh approach.

Meet the modern maternity portrait. These were taken with natural light and strobe in our studio lobby.

Just a touch of boudior...

This sweet one is for Billy

And this is little Isaac...
We headed outside for a (very) quick natural light session as the sun was setting

My absolute favorite. Sandra looks beautiful.

Miss Reagan came out to play with mommy. These shots were captured within five minutes. No really, five minutes. Two year olds have extremely short attention spans :)I love the golden light at sunset
And one quick shot with Billy while Reagan was preoccupied with keys

I am happy to announce that Issaac arrived safely this afternoon. I can't wait to meet him tomorrow in the hospital!

Maternity: Dena Shore

Maternity sessions are such fun to shoot because I get to feel the excitement within the expectant parents. This morning I photographed Dena and Brandon Shore whom are expecting their first child in July. They know the baby is a boy and will name him Mason. Mason will be their first child and with all new parents, there is so much anticipation and excitement going on inside.

Brandon and Dena go to church with me so this was especially exciting for me to be a part of the motherhood process.

You guys are going to make excellent parents. Since Dena is a nurse she can fix all Mason's little bumps and scraps; and, since Brandon is a teacher he can teach little Mason about life.

Congratulations you two!

Look at her tiny baby bump. Makes all expectant mothers jealous.
Love this shot.
They just couldn't stop smiling. Gitty with anticipation....
Dena forgot her baby booties and was so upset until I showed her what we had on hand. As you can see, this made her very happy.
Ok, Kim and I are off to photograph Brittney and Justin's wedding. More to come in the next few days.....

Rosenburger Maternity Session

Brandy is a good friend of Charity Stroupe (my previous post) who is also expecting a little boy. We had a great time on her photo session as well and got some really really good stuff that will look spectacular in Noah's room. Here are just a couple of cute shots from Brandy's session. Oh, Brandy hand painted the choo-choo train and it looks so cute on top of her baby bump. ~ Sandra Henderson

One Of Our Own

One Of Our Own

Kim Shouse, one of our own photographers, gave birth to Mr. Oliver Henry Shouse on April 26, 2007.

I had the wonder pleasure of photographing the two of them when he was just a couple of weeks old.

Oliver slept for most of the session and allowed us to place him in many different positions.
Kim, congratulations on this beautiful bouncing baby boy. He is very handsome and my daughter's future boyfriend :)
