Newborns: Daniel

Once again, I was an important part of a newborn's life. This is Daniel, son to Amber and Danny Kirkman. Not only is he a beautiful baby but he was such a joy to work with. After his little tummy was full, he slept the rest of the session and allowed me to capture some beautiful moments of him sleeping. Amber, this is the photograph I captured as your eyes filled up with tears. Yes, he does look like an angel. Amber and Danny, here is a sneak peek into Daniel's session.....

Maternity : Faye

We love shooting on location and were thrilled to take this maternity session outside. Faye was completely open to our ideas and we had so much fun scouting new places. Baby Evie is due in March, but she won't slow Mommy for long! Faye is an awesome wedding coordinator and we are lucky to be working with her this year. Awaiting Baby Blake...

We love photographing bellies and little bundles and lately we've been getting our fill! This beautiful family will be blessed with a baby boy in March, and big sister Makayla is very excited.

Newborns: Emma

Once again, I had the pleasure of photographing a precious little baby. Emma was the ideal newborn and slept for most of our session. She has a ton of hair and looks like a baby doll. I just wanted to snuggle up with her but I let her go home with her mom and dad.

Newborns : Bergon

Little Bergon was happy as a clam all wrapped up in our blankets and his parents' arms. He snoozed through our entire session (almost), which made us all very happy! It just doesn't get any sweeter than this.

Newborns: Davis

I absolutely love photographing newborns and this little man was no exception. He's fresh out of the oven and that's the way we like them. He slept most of the time and we were able to get some really good stuff. Amy and Todd, thank you for bringing him in to see us. I can't wait to see how much he grows this year. We'll see you very very soon!

Newborns: one of our own

Hello friends, family, and wonderful clients. I write to you from the comfort of my home. I'm happy to say that our little man, Isaac Gray, made his appearance Sunday, November 9th, 2008, at 1:43 p.m. Everything went smoothly with my labor and delivery. After 6 minutes of pushing he was here.

Isaac's big sister, Reagan, has welcomed him with open arms, lots of hand holding, and tons of sweet kisses. She sits in her Barbie chair, pats her legs and says "a chair, a chair" which is Reagan's way of saying she wants to hold him. I am absolutely thrilled she has responded so positively to him.

Many of my clients have either called or emailed me asking that I post some images of him so that they can see this little bundle I've been toting around for the past 9 months. Well here he is...Mr. Isaac Gray Henderson. One of our own.....

Sandra's Maternity Portraits

We almost ran out of time, but we managed to make room for Sandra's maternity portraits (yep, that's Fusion's Sandra) with only a couple of weeks to go. She was game for anything I wanted to do, and she looks amazing, so we took things in a different direction and opted for a fresh approach.

Meet the modern maternity portrait. These were taken with natural light and strobe in our studio lobby.

Miss Reagan came out to play with mommy. These shots were captured within five minutes. No really, five minutes. Two year olds have extremely short attention spans :)I love the golden light at sunset

I am happy to announce that Issaac arrived safely this afternoon. I can't wait to meet him tomorrow in the hospital!

Newborns: Jake Parnell

Michael and Chrystal Parnell came in to see us this past weekend with the newest addition of their family, Jake Parnell. This is one beautiful baby and sweet to boot. It took a little bit to get him to go to sleep but once he did boy did we get some really beautiful moments of him.

I just love this photo with his mouth open while he's fast asleep. How precious a newborn is when they are sleeping peacefully.


Thank you for allowing me to photograph one of the most important moments in Jake's life. Don't blink because he will grow before your eyes. I look forward to seeing him at our next session.
