Weston and Will Stiles

I went to high school with Michelle many moons ago. She now has two beautiful boys, Weston and Will (we can't forget her handsome husband Jamie). We met up for some photos this afternoon and we just let the boys have fun. I always seem to get better photographs when the parents just let the kids play. It took Weston a little bit to get used to me but a candy cane helped him warm right up to me :) ~ Sandra Henderson

This is Weston right before I gave him a candy cane. He was being shy.

Just the guys

A sweet moment

Weston and Michelle just couldn't resist throwing leaves on Will

These guys love each other SOOOO much!

Will's on top of the world.....

Can you believe another hug....

Leaving to go see Santa Claus..

Tori and Byron Neal

Tori and Byron were my last wedding couple of the year and what a year it was. They were married at Alamance Country Club. Both Tori and Byron are the sweetest souls. The groomsman and maid of honor gave the most heart felt toasts. Byron's mom gave a wonderful gift of Don Perignon for the couple to have their toast dated (well I better not tell Byron's age). Moving on....the funniest part of the reception was when Byron broke out in a dance for his mother just before their mother/son dance which made the guests roll with laughter. Anyway, Tori and Byron, I do not have a bottle of Don Perignon but I hold my glass of water up to you with my very own toast to say....I'm so glad I met you both, your love shines as bright as the sun. I know in my heart your love will last forever. May you always be blessed with love and laughter. ~ Sandra

Wendy Lee and Ryan Mendenhall's Wedding

I know I say this about all my clients but Wendy and Ryan are such wonderful people. They are rather reserved but so full of love and life. During the vows, Ryan got choked up which always sets the guests to tears. Even I had tears because the moment was so precious. ~ Sandra

Just look at these beautiful kids.

And the guests having a good time talking and enjoying the reception.

Dreary Day

I promise I have some wedding images coming this week so be patient with me :)

It was cold and dreary yesterday. The clouds reminded me of snow and was a definite sign that Winter has arrived. I just couldn't pass up the opportunity to photograph nature with all those beautiful leaves on the ground. ~ Sandra

These photos aren't wedding related but I like them nonetheless. These are just some cool things hanging around my in-law's home that I thought I would share. ~ Sandra

Here's an old can that they used to burn trash.

Of course, what's a house without a birdhouse.

Here is my father-in-law's old Ford Galaxy

Last but not least, here is my husband working on his golf swing.

Mentoring Session with Jessica Claire!!!

A couple of months ago I won a mentoring session with this cutie pie, Jessica Claire.

Jessica is "famous" in the photography world for her clean, crisp, sharp and vibrant images. Most every photographer wants images like hers and today I had the opportunity to pick her brain. She is so giving of information and so open about everything from the way she shoots to her personal life. Jessica, not only are you a very gifted photographer, you are super sweet! Thank you so much for giving me your shootsac. ~Sandra

Camille is FIVE!

What more could a five year old ask for than a party with pony rides? How about a yard full of friends to celebrate with? Decked out in her pink hat and boots, she was ready to party. Camille, you are sunshine, and one lucky girl. -Kim

Gina and Justin

I've known Gina for several years, and was thrilled when she told me she was engaged and asked me to photograph her wedding. The engagement session was so much fun, and I can't wait until next spring for her bridal session. Gina is a knockout and Justin is not only handsome, but a great sport. I have a feeling their wedding will be full of surprises! -Kim

Saturday, November 10th, I Photographed the Little Miss Christmas Pageant

The Little Miss Christmas Pageant was so much fun. There were so many funny, charming and beautiful little girls I wish I had more opportunity to take more pictures. We were limited to what we could do in just a few minutes in the high school library. Here are a few examples of my new friends. Dianne

Tamra and Matt's Wedding

Tamra and Matt were married at the O'Henry Hotel in Greensboro on October 20, 2007. While I was upstairs (on the 8th floor) photographing Tamra, the fire alarm in the hotel went off shutting off the elevator door. The ceremony was delayed by 30 minutes but was absolutely beautiful despite the set back. Tamra and Matt are so beautiful together. Here are just a few shots from their wedding. ~ Sandra Henderson

I just love the little bride and groom......

The cake was done by Maxie B's in Greensboro. Great job you guys!

Check out the details on this dress....wowza!

I just had to blow out the background on these shoes and here's a peek shot I took from inside the reception room. What a sweet smile Tamra has....
