Amy and Justin

I don't know that I've ever met a more affectionate couple. Amy and Justin met in school at Wake Forest, back in the day :), and it was the perfect place for their engagement session.

It's been a while since I've been there (the Grand Tour was great guys), and our visit was a blend of meaningful stops and interesting nooks along the way.

Getting back to the affectionate part, I don't think I had to ask once for Justin to hold Amy's hand or lean in to give her a kiss. I'm still not sure he even knew it was a photoshoot (more like a makeout session). This guy loves his girl.

Looking forward to the wedding at Wait Chapel this summer!

Ben and Jennifer

I love couples like Ben and Jennifer. They were so open and willing to try anything. We captured some really fun stuff that showed their personalities. My favorites of the day though, were the quiet moments in between that reflected the love and intimacy they share. You'd never believe that they were hanging upside down from trees and jumping from stairs. I may just have to post those next time.

Their engagement guest book will serve as a great momento not only of this day of fun, but of their wedding day, containing messages of love from their guests.

Weddings: Erick and Sara MacPherson

Sara and Erick were married in Charlotte at the Embassy Suites. They say the night before their wedding Janet Jackson stayed at the hotel. I wonder if there is any truth to that?

Anyway, Sara and Erick very laid back and weren't stressed at all. The guys hung out at the bar and the gals were in the hotel suite having their makeup done.

There was a lot of play between Sara and Erick (and their guests) during the reception and a great time was had by all. Here are just a few shots from their wedding.

Little Girl On A Mission

Today I had to take a break from post processing some wedding images. It's so beautiful outside that I decided to grab up the little one, pack her in the car, and head out to Tanglewood. She's a woman on a mission anytime we go outside and I have to chase her down because she wants to explore EVERYTHING. I finally had to put the camera down when we reached the playground. Anyway, here are some shots of her playing in the sandbox.

Bundles: Amelia Cooke

This is Amelia Cooke, daughter to Jonathan and Lori Cooke. She is 3 weeks old and a doll. As you can see by this image, she was very alert during our session although she was suppose to be sound asleep. It's ok though, she was a trooper and hung in there. I'm sure she slept for a very long time after she left.

Ameila, I'll see you again when we start the "Watch Me Grow" sessions in a few more months!

Bridal: Sara Young

Sara is one of my favorite brides. She has a personality that sparkles brighter than the sun. She was married this past Saturday but we photographed her bridal session a couple of weeks before her ceremony over at Tanglewood Park.

You can tell by the photographs below that she always has a smile on her face and an aura of goodness around her.

Here are some shots from her session. Images from her wedding are coming very soon!

Weddings: Cory and Grant Grimshaw

Two weeks ago, I photographed the wedding of Cory and Grant at Jamestown Presbyterian Church. The church is absolutely beautiful and I have to admit, I got lost trying to find my way around. However, after several trips around the church, I became a pro at finding my way around.

The flowers were elegant just like Cory and Grant looked dapper in his military attire. These two are simply made for one another.

Here's a sneak peak at their wedding.....
