Emily and Eddy Wedding: Centenary United Methodist and Old Town Country Club

I met up with Emily and Eddy several months ago for their engagement session and knew their wedding was going to be super fun to photograph and it was.

Saul and I joined them for their wedding on June 14th. Not only are they both georgous, they are super nice and awesome dancers. The ceremony was probably the fastest one I have ever attended but it was beautiful and the reception was great. All the guests had a blast and could have danced the night away.

There were so many great moments from their wedding but I just couldn't post them all so I'll just have to post a few.

This shot was taken in front of Centenary.

Look at Eddy's smile.

The uber Colleen Kelly preparing Emily for the wedding.
I love this moment.

Took advantage of the piano for a ring shot.
Eddy's smile became even bigger when he saw the gift Emily purchased for him. Yes, that's a Rolex!

Another moment.

Mr. and Mrs. Forrest.

We snagged an umbrella to go outside for some photographs of them alone.

That kiss was so steamy hot, we had to hide it from view.

Tell me they aren't georgous. Imagine what their children will look like.

I told you they could dance. Look at them.

Emily and Eddy, I hope you guys had a great time on your honeymoon.

Carla and Scotty

Carla and Scotty were married on June 7th. I know, I know, it's almost two weeks past their wedding and I'm just now getting this posted.

Anyway, Saul and I headed to Ardmore Baptist Church to photograph their wedding. What can I say, these guys were just awesome to work with. We weren't able to do any pre-ceremony photographs because it was blazing hot and all would have melted; however, Carla and Scotty allowed time after their guests left to go to Reynolda Gardens to do some alone shots and boy did we get some shots.

Welcome back from your honeymoon. I know you had a blast.

Beautiful Carla

Weddings: Amy and Justin

You may remember Amy and Justin from their engagement session a few months back. They are Wake Forest alums and die hard fans, sporting school colors both for their portrait session and wedding. With the help of Julia Denton of Tie the Knot, their wedding was both beautiful and loads of fun.

a glance back...
wedding details...lovely flowers from Floral Visions...i love this completely random moment Sarah captured... the handsome groom and his guys...

hey, where'd he go?

first dance at the millenium center...stopping traffic...going out in style...
amy and justin had a photo booth from party booths at the reception and sarah and i couldn't help ourselves, despite looking less than glamorous from the heat of the day. who says hard work can't be fun? Thanks guys! Have an awesome honeymoon and i'll see you soon!

Did we say boudoir?

Yes we did! Many people have never even heard of a boudoir session so let us explain. A boudoir session is around a 2 hour in studio or on location session where you bring 4 to 5 different outfit changes. The outfits you bring depends on the style of session you are going for. Some women like to have photographs with lingerie, others like t-shirts with shorts or even a button down shirt with your man's tie. What you wear is what your comfort level is and the ultimate goal you are going after.

Why do boudoir? Well, for several reasons: as a gift to your future husband, your husband's birthday or anniversary. This also makes a great gift for Father's Day. No ladies, you do not give this to your dad but to your husband for being such a great father to your little one(s).

What do you get for a session? Well, you get 2 hours time, 4 to 5 outfit changes, and a DVD slideshow set to music all for $250.

Trust us ladies, we have had many thank you, thank you, thank you's from fiances and husbands. Here are a few sample photos.....

Weddings: Brittney and Justin

It has been a long time since Kim and I have had the opportunity to shoot a wedding together and it just so happened that she wasn't booked last Saturday so she escorted me to Brittney and Justin's wedding.

We headed to Boxwood Lodge in Mocksville for this special wedding. This venue is spectacular. Brittney and Justin's reception was so elegantly setup in white/pink and flowers everywhere. Sit tight because we have a lot of photos to show you.

A special thanks to Chad of Wilkes Video for letting us use his videolight. It came in real handy for us.
