Ashley and Wesley's Wedding

Kim and I headed to Colfax to photograph Ashley and Wesley's wedding and boy was it a fun wedding to photograph. There are just too many great images to post so I'll post a few of our favorites. Thanks guys for being so great to work with. You guys are totally awesome.

Check out the great posing gals.

The guys aren't too bad themselves.

Beautiful outside ceremony.

Now husband and wife.

I think she's fond of Wesley, what do you think?

Lovely...

I love this look on Ashley's face after Wesley helped her into the car.

Passionate...

I hope you guys had a wonderful time on your honeymoon. It was truly a pleasure being a part of your wedding.

Kids: Brandon

This is Brandon Bassiri and he is just adorable. He was a little scared of my camera at first but after I let him see the camera and play with it he was just fine.

He has the most beautiful set of curly locks. He looked for fish in the pond, played on the choo-choo train, and had a blast on the playground.

Here he is climbing up the slide......

Here he is on the train. Choo-Choo!!!

Here he is coming down the slide on his belly. Gotta love that little face!

Featured Wedding: Sarah and Mike

The only thing I can say about this couple is that they are phenomenal. It's very rare when a photographer in the South gets the chance to photograph a couple who are willing to see each other before the wedding. It was explosive to say the least. Sarah did not think she would get emotional but the moment she laid eyes on Mike they both wept. We were able to get so many fun and great shots prior to the ceremony and just directly after. Well, don't take my word for it, see for yourself....

The flowers

What beauty and grace

Mike with that nice chiseled look

As Sarah's mom told me, this is a tradition that the two of them have been doing for years. It makes me want to start a tradition like this with my own daughter...

What a great moment shared between Sarah and her father. He so sweetly and gently wiped away her tears just like he did when she was a little girl. All of Sarah's bridesmaids were in tears and I have to admit, so was I.

Can you feel the anticipation from Mike as he feels Sarah walking up from behind?

Mike was in awe of Sarah's sheer grace and beauty. Just the two of them on the most important day of their lives.

Does this photograph even need words of expression?

Sarah's girls were so fun. You can see this is a great group of gals....

Mike looks so great in this photo. He should be a model...........

You just gotta love train tracks......

This photo was screaming texture so I could not resist.

Sarah and Mike, I hope you're having a blast on your honeymoon. I'll see you when you come back home.

Weddings: Jennifer and Daniel

Saul and I headed to Hodgin Valley Farm to photograph Jennifer and Daniel's wedding on June 22, 2008.

This couple is extrodinary. They are down to earth and simply lovable. They were surrounded by wonderful family and friends. We worried prior to the ceremony that the dark skies behind us would open up into a downpour but they were blessed as the rain held off until the ceremony was over.

Congratulations on your wedding. I am truly grateful I was a part of it.

Ever After : Jennifer and Ben

Jennifer and Ben were married at the Castle McCulloch Crystal Garden. Jenn is a knockout (search Bridals to find hers) and they are so much fun together. Everything was beautiful, and I am a bit partial to their wedding colors :)

Hanging with the girls...

Yes, I admit it. I have a shoe fetish, especially on Fusion Fotografix blue...

I snuck over to the Castle bridge for a quick bouquet pic...

Dapper...

Just before the stage fright set in...

We did!

A quiet moment alone...

First dance...

They had two cakes to choose from, and this cheesecake looked amazing. Yum...

But this one was easier to smear...

To the happy couple...

Yeah. This pretty much sums up the rest of the night...

Jenn and Ben, from engagement to wedding, I really enjoyed getting to know you both. Jenn, if you ever want to take me up on that gift to Ben, just let me know. Otherwise, I'll wait for a baby bump session.

It is rumored that there may be another family wedding in the near future. Keep me posted!

Gina's Bridal

Gina chose a more tradtional bridal session in our studio. Here is just a peek...

Ever After : Gina and Justin

I have the best job in the world. My couples are awesome! Case in point...Gina and Justin. I've never known a more grounded...yet funny...couple. Justin has been the bright light in Gina's year, and his love for her is so evident. I have so many great images from their wedding, but most here are chosen for the emotion they evoke and the meaning behind them. It was a day full of love: between the two, from families and guests, and from above.

Let's start with a great pair of shoes...

A gorgeous bouquet...

A mother's ring...

A handsome groom...

Gina released a single butterfly in honor of her mother, and I love the three images below. This little one was supposed to sit still for 15 seconds, but stayed for over a minute. It finally fluttered away quickly, and I love Gina's reaction.

A quiet conversation and loving look...

Last minute details...

Makes me melt...

Butterflies were released after the ceremony...

Giddy...

Ever After...

I do have many more (incriminating) images from the reception, but this was a wild group, and I don't want to get anyone in trouble :)

I love you guys and know you'll be insanely happy!
